Under Armour Curry 9 - Street Pack

Curry Brand, powered by Under Armour, is launching a five-part footwear collection that brings the spirit of Sesame Street’s iconic Muppets to the basketball court.
Stephen Curry knew that partnering with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, would be a natural extension of his recent efforts to celebrate Harlem and inspire young athletes.

Curry Brand’s “Street Pack” includes five colorways based on Sesame Street’s indelible characters, who are celebrated with unique markings on the shoe’s tongue tab and a hint-of-character flag near the heel. The classic Sesame Street sign is also featured on the sock liner.

• The “The Count” colorway, for example, brings to life Count von Count, with the shiny tongue tab reflecting the satin exterior of The Count’s cape and the shoe’s interior matching the cape’s colorful lining.
• The "Play Big" colorway (product code 3024248-702) is inspired by Big Bird (aka Bibo), the large yellow bird about 2 meters tall. Big Bird debuted from the first episode of the TV show back in 1969.
• The "Elmo" colorway (product code 3024248-603) combines a lively red with "furry" details that recall the little monster of the Muppets who gained visibility to the point of establishing itself, in the eighties, as the undisputed star of Sesame Street.
• The "Oscar" colorway (product code 3024248-102) is inspired by Oscar the Grouch who always complains and hates to see other people happy. Little curiosity, in the first season of Sesame Street he had an orange fur while in the second season it became green and this was the color chosen for this collaboration between the Curry brand and the American cartoon.
• The "Cookie Monster" colorway (product code 3024248-404) recalls the great monster with blue fur, rotating eye sockets and a very hoarse voice. He is always hungry and, in the absence of biscuits (his favorite food), he can eat anything, even inedible. The character appeared in the first season of Sesame Street as an unnamed monster. From the middle of the second season the character officially became "Cookie Monster".

The Curry Flow 9 builds on the success of the Curry Flow 8. This updated shoe features a fine-tuned UA Flow traction pattern and the introduction of UA Warp, Under Armour’s new-to-basketball upper technology that improves foot stability. UA Warp works in tandem with UA Flow, featuring supportive tapes that lock the foot onto the UA Flow midsole while allowing for natural movement.
